Why I Built Baseball Recruiting Tracker

I didn’t build this app as a developer looking for a problem to solve. I built it as a baseball parent who lived the process and kept running into the same wall.

My son was going through college baseball recruiting, and what I expected to be an organized, structured experience turned out to be anything but. There was no central place to track which coaches he had contacted, which schools had responded, which camps were coming up, or what was said in the last conversation. We were managing it across text threads, a notes app, and a spreadsheet that was already outdated the day after we built it.

The more I talked to other baseball families, the more I realized this wasn’t just us. Players were missing follow-up windows. Families were losing track of offers. Nobody had a clear picture of where things actually stood at any given moment. The process was moving fast and the tools people were using weren’t built for it.

There were general recruiting platforms out there. There were spreadsheet templates. But nothing built specifically for the way college baseball recruiting actually works โ€” the outreach cadence, the coach relationships, the camp and showcase circuit, the scholarship math, the coaching staff turnover that can change everything overnight.

So I built Baseball Recruiting Tracker.

The goal was straightforward: give players and their families one place to manage the entire recruiting process, from first contact to commitment. Track schools. Log every conversation. Know when a coach changes programs. Compare offers. Get your story out to the right coaches in the right way.

It’s not designed to replace the advisors and coaches who guide players through this process. Those relationships matter. Baseball Recruiting Tracker is built to make sure nothing falls through the cracks while those relationships are being built.

If you’re in the middle of this process, or about to be, I built this for you.
