These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Baseball Recruiting Tracker (the “App”) provided by Justin Leggett.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
- The App is intended for users 14 years of age or older.
- You represent that you are at least 14 years old, or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
- The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow use by children under 13.
2. Description of the App
Baseball Recruiting Tracker is a recruiting tracking tool designed to help users manage recruiting-related information, including:
- profile and academic details
- recruiting pipeline tracking
- touchpoints and communications
- media/profile links
- reminders and notifications
- facility-specific activation/branding features
The App may also display public data (such as tuition information) from third-party sources.
3. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with:
- these Terms, and
- the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions / App Store rules applicable to your use
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited by law
- use the App in a way that violates law or another person’s rights
- interfere with the App’s operation or security
4. User Data and Content
A. Your Responsibility for Data
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter into the App, including:
- personal profile details
- academic information
- recruiting notes and touchpoints
- email content
- links and media references
B. Sensitive Information
Do not enter information into the App unless you are authorized to use and store it. You should avoid entering highly sensitive information not required for recruiting workflow use.
C. Ownership of Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into the App. We do not claim ownership of your recruiting data.
D. Permission to Process Data
By using the App, you grant us permission to process your data as necessary to provide App functionality, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

6. Notifications

The App may support email drafting/composition and handoff to Apple Mail or related iOS mail functionality.
- We do not guarantee email delivery.
- We do not control Apple Mail, your email provider, or third-party mail servers.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing and sending emails, including recipients, tone, and content accuracy.
8. Third-Party Services and Public Data
The App may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Firebase Analytics (Google)
- Firebase Firestore (Google)
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
- Apple Mail
- U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard API
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, accuracy, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and policies.
Public data (such as tuition information) is provided for convenience and may change. We do not guarantee that third-party or public data is complete, accurate, or current.
9. No Professional, Academic, Admissions, or Legal Advice
The App is an recruiting tool and is provided for informational and workflow support purposes only.
It does not provide:
- legal advice
- academic advising
- admissions guarantees
- recruiting guarantees
- NCAA/compliance legal determinations
- financial aid or scholarship advice
You are responsible for verifying all recruiting, academic, and eligibility information with schools, coaches, governing bodies, and qualified professionals.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- violate any law, regulation, or school policy
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- harass, abuse, threaten, or spam coaches, schools, or others
- store or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
- attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- disrupt the App or its connected services
We may suspend or terminate access to the App (where applicable) if you violate these Terms.
11. Data Deletion and App Removal
You may delete your data within the App using the in-app deletion feature (for example, Settings → Delete All My Data), if available.
Deleting the App from your device may not automatically delete all data handled by third-party services (such as analytics or crash logs), subject to those services and our Privacy Policy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY
- RELIABILITY
- AVAILABILITY
We do not warrant that:
- the App will meet your requirements
- the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- defects will be corrected
- data loss will never occur
You are responsible for maintaining backups of important information where appropriate.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Justin Leggett SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:
- your use of or inability to use the App
- errors or interruptions
- third-party services or data
- unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- decisions made based on App content or outputs
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED:
- the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or
- USD $50, whichever is greater
(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.)
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Justin Leggett and its affiliates, officers, contractors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use of the App
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of any law or third-party rights
- content or data you enter, transmit, or use in the App
16. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or us.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by:
- stopping use of the App, and
- deleting the App from your device
We may terminate or suspend your access (where applicable) if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
Sections that should reasonably survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
17. Apple-Specific Terms (Required for iOS Apps)
This section applies when you use the App on an Apple device obtained through the App Store.
- These Terms are between you and Jusstin Leggett, not Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligations with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
- If a third party claims the App infringes intellectual property rights, Apple is not responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of such claim.
- You represent and warrant that:
- you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and
- you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, Frederick, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
You agree that disputes arising out of these Terms or the App will be resolved in the courts located in Frederick, Maryland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users:
- in the App
- by email (if provided), and/or
- by updating the “Last Updated” date above
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
